Learning about Holistic Skin care can be an amazing process.
My Holistic philosophy is based on four principles
What is Holistic approach? All aspects of the client’s lifestyle are taken into account. Do you smoke? Do you get enough exercise. Are you eating a wholesome diet. Anything that may be affecting the condition of your skin is reviewed. What type of person are you? All these are important factors in determining the right formula, for your skin care.
The 5 principles;
High Standard of quality: We never use mineral oil, artificial colors or artificial fragrance, dyes, animal by product or by-products and artificial preservatives. Every skin care product, is formulated with natural raw ingredients and with an organic(from a living form or species or from the nature) origin and when possible we use certified organic. Everything we do is done with integrity.
Ayurveda: Ayurveda means “the science of life”. Originating from India 5000 years ago. Ayurveda consist of three main elements, Vata, Pitta, Kapha, making up the human body. Known as Doshas, each governs an essential structure of the human body. Working collectively, all three doshas aim to achieve equilibrium, equalizing a good health, happiness, glowing complexions, physical strength and immunity. By determinating your body type, with a prakruti test, we can determinate what works best for your type of skin.
Continued education: It is a dangerous mental attitude to think one has learned all one needs to know. I always keep an open mind to new ideas that can benefit my customers and the products we handcraft.
Client education: The client must be educated about skin care as it pertains to them.
